One person, one coach, one program.
Individual Design Coaching is not personal training and it’s not group fitness. Individual Design Coaching (or “ID” for short) is a coach-client relationship around which we build a scaffolding of supportive behaviors and tools to help you achieve your personal health & fitness goals. The basic structure goes like this:
- Consultation
- Assessment
- Program Design
- Implementation
- Ongoing Support
In the Consultation stage, we establish a relationship, learning about your history, goals, preferences, and communication style.
In the Assessment stage, we perform measurements of how you move, respond to exercise cues, exhibit strength and work capacity, how you eat, and your body composition (fat mass vs. muscle mass).
In the Program Design stage, I design workouts that suit your lifestyle and your goals, along with nutrition changes, and a plan for new habits and behaviors that will help you achieve your goals while serving your personal priorities.
In the Implementation stage, you put your workout plan, nutrition plan, and lifestyle plan into action by following the program we’ve created together and benefitting from the results.
In the Ongoing Support stage, we continue to refine the process over time with monthly consultations and frequent re-assessments. Your program is further customized based on your priorities, goals, and personality; and your consistent practice of exercise, nourishment, and healthy behaviors accelerates your progress.

Individual Design Coaching can be delivered remotely using Zoom and other apps (like CoachRX), or we can do this in-person if you live in my part of the world.
