The George Floyd Rebellion: Killings, Race, Police, and Protests

Apart from COVID, this was the other major disturbance of 2020 (*so far). When I saw the internet explode into stories about police killings of black people, and saw the news about protests beginning all over the world, I at first attempted to avoid the whole thing. I have a very complex relationship to race and police and America and busting all that open was not something I was eager to do. But then I saw the George Floyd video. After watching that video, I knew I had to speak up, tell my stories, and talk about right and wrong.

I’m Going to Talk About George Floyd

I’m Going to Talk About Race

I’m Going to Talk About the Police

It’s Not Just George Floyd

Black Lives Matter Because All Lives Matter

Blue Lives Matter Too

I’ll Keep Talking About George Floyd

I’ll Keep Talking About Race

I’ll Keep Talking About Police

Do Push-Ups Because Black Lives Matter

Do Push-Ups Because All Lives Matter

Do Push-Ups Because Blue Lives Matter

Is Protesting a Good Thing or a Bad Thing?

Every Life Matters
